Reza Amini is a PostDoc research fellow at ACIB based at the Institute of Analytical Chemistry in the group of Prof. Zanghellini, University of Vienna. He graduated from the University of Sao Paulo with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal and Fluid, in November 2018.
His primary research field is CFD, Thermal modeling, and analysis of the multiphase flow, specially gas-solid and liquid-solid flow with two-fluid modeling, where both phases are treated as interpenetrating continuum phases. Examples of multiphase flow related to my research work include slurry mud transportation and fluidized bed reactors.
