Background
Jose Ramon Jeronimo Liñan is currently a Master's student in the group, conducting research on genome-scale metabolic modeling of microbial communities. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Granada in Spain and a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from the University of Applied Sciences Krems (Austria), and he is currently completing a second Master's in OMICs Technologies and Data Science in Biomedicine at the same institution.
Before returning to academia, he worked for three years as a Bioprocess Engineer in Vienna, where he developed and optimized fungal bioprocesses across scales, from plate-based cultivation to laboratory- and pilot-scale fermentations.
