PraeDoc: Ana Carvalho

Ana Carvalho is a scientist whose research interests lie in biotechnology and the bioprocessing field. Ana holds a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and a master’s degree in Environmental and Industrial Biotechnology, both from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in microbial biotechnology and bioprocessing. After completing her degrees, she enrolled in a 9-month Erasmus+ internship at IPLA-CSIC in Spain. Currently, Ana is pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at Novoarc and the University of Vienna as part of the PROHITS project.
